Aiden is the son of Niko and Mia. He looks exactly like his father through the face and is slightly taller than his father. His personality is just like Niko, in the fact that he follows us everywhere in the house. Aiden is still a bundle of energy. His favorite past-time is playing with Tayla and his son Chevayo. He also tries to get up on the couch with Tayla each night, but there's not enough room for all of us. Aiden will return to training after this litter of puppies has left and will begin showing towards his CD title. Aiden tested normal for heart and eyes in June.

Tayla is our youngest female. She is also our most spoiled rotten. When we brought her home as a puppy she was overwhelmed by our other dogs, so we let her lay on the couch with us. She was the first one we've ever allowed on the furniture and needless to say, we couldn't say no. Her favorite spot on the couch is mine and she doesn't like to give it up when I return. She may be our smallest, but she definitely gives the others a run for their money. She picks on Aiden relentlessly. Her ears do not stand correctly, Lisa is holding her ears in place in this picture. They were NOT cropped by the vet that does our litters. Her ears were cropped down south and they were trimmed a little too narrow, so we were not able to get them to stand. We had hoped on showing her in confirmation because both of her parents are Champions, but because her ears don't stand we are going to pursue an obedience title with her. Tayla also tested normal for heart and eyes in June.

Chevayo is our newest addition to the family. He is son of Aiden and Nakieja. We have also owned three of his four grandparents, Niko, Mia and Nasada. Chevayo is currently around 6 months old. As you can see, he feels right at home on the couch. He has started his obedience training and may start competing in the late fall. His looks and personality are so close to his grandfather, Niko, sometimes it's like he is Niko reincarnated. The only thing is that Chevayo was born before Niko passed away.

Nakieja is definitely dad’s little girl. She has a wonderful personality and is much calmer than some of our other Dobes. She loves to play with puppies whether they are hers or someone else's. It would be hard to find another Dobe who is so committed to please your every command. She’s also quite comical because she is the only dog in our house who sleeps with all four paws up in the air. I always tell Lisa that she held her on her back too much as a puppy. Nakieja is the daughter of Nasada and they are both now retired and live with us. Nakieja is Chevayo's mother. Nakieja’s pedigree is not on our website, but I will gladly email it to you.

IN MEMORY

Unfortunately Niko passed away in December 2004 at 10 1/2 due to bone cancer. Niko's personality always represented the true male Doberman. He was highly energetic and always willing to please. My wife was unable to go anywhere in the house without having her precious son tag along. Niko weighed 110 pounds and was absolutely striking. He loved to compete in obedience and his visits to area nursing homes as a therapy dog. It was always guaranteed that he would attempt to wash the face of every person he encountered. One fortunate thing is that both his son Aiden and his grandson Chevayo have inherited the same personality traits from Niko. We'll never be able to get over the loss.
